Wedding News!

Things are moving along at a rapid pace-due to Eric's upcoming deployment. Jill has her dress, they have the date and place, the wedding party is complete, and now----they have a website. Check out www.ericandjill.com. It's still under construction and they have some things to tweek, but you can read about how they met, who's in the wedding party, etc. During Eric's leave, they are getting the cake and food taken care of, engagement photos, etc. It's all coming together.

Oh, the memories...

Speaking of Florida:

I just spent about 20 minutes talking to my co-worker, Rebecca, about her upcoming trip to Cocoa Beach. She was going for the space shuttle launch, but then they postponed it, so now she's just going.

I suppose that must have been old ol' blue we took down back then...but so much fun! Ron Jon's, switching rooms, shuffle board, and of course the Space Center.

We decided we might have to do a compare and contrast vacation slide show when she gets back to see how much has changed in, oh...20 years? Wow.

You Wouldn't Believe What I Saw!

How many miles do you suppose "Old Blue" (that is what everyone called the blue van, wasn't it) has on her? Well, today I was shocked to see it whiz - yes, whiz, right past me on 37 South just beyond the stoplight. Funny thing was...she didn't have a side door (on the back part). There was that woodwork and that light blue/grey upholstery flying by! I got a kick out of that picture and thought I'd share that image with all of you. Lots of fun trips in that vehicle!
