How scary is this?

It's starting to come together, but before this shot, there was...

this scary moment,

and this very questionable bunch.

They had a plan...

and it worked!

Making Progress

New lighting and hardware for the sink and clawfoot tub
(this was delivered in the middle of last week's snow storm)

New vanity minus countertop, sink basin, and faucet

Vinyl plank flooring (going in tomorrow)

Hard at work

This is the wall where the stacked washer and dryer will go...no molding
installed yet, and baseboards have not been painted, but it's coming along

I'm wondering if we will see any pictures of...

......the renovation project going on at North Gospel in Paoli?

Somebody is having a birthday tomorrow.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BROTHER JOE (and GO COLTS!!)

Snowmaggedon!

If you can't tell, those are my car (improved aerodynamics thanks to the storm), me (thigh-deep in a drift) and the little shopping strip down the block from me. The snow is finally dying down, and my street -- a snow emergency route -- is pretty clear, but not much else is. No public transit is running and we've been told to expect the federal government to be shut down Monday as the clearing continues (yay, snowday!). Lots of folks out walking around, though. It's so pretty!

who knew the sun would come out?

not DC, but....

My view out the window this morning.
Our crabapple tree. (hope the branches don't break.
