a good long walk
Dropped Wes and Stacie off at Tampa airport this evening for their flight to Maine to start there six month trek south. Took lots of pics with them and their backpacks headed to the plane to post. got home and somewhere are the pics in cyber space but not on my camera. so pic stacie and wes with 30# backbacks that is suppossed to hold everything for the next six months with smiles on their faces and that is what i took. now who wants to meet them on the Maine - New Hamphsire border in about a month to hike for a bit with them on the AT.

Glad to get the news about the two hikers. I had been thinking about them and wondering if they had left. Is there a way to keep in touch? Love
they did not take a cell phone -- stacie says that will save $50 a month, one week food. they have calling cards and said they will call when they come to towns and i will post updates.
