I've talked to a few of you and you have expressed interest in coming to Avon on Friday evening and camping out (since we never camped this summer) - It looks as though the weather is going to cooperate - Joe plans to put the meat on around midnight, which means it should be ready around noon on Saturday and we'll eat all day!
Who plans to come Friday night? The pizza bar will be open - suggestions for pizza toppings? Need some idea of attendance so we know how much dough to make!
Throw your lawn chairs in your car in case we need more seating.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
We have one large tent, one Lightning McQueen tent, four sleeping bags, and 3 bedrooms available. Bring anything else you may need!
FOOD:
Lisa is bringing meatballs, chicken salad croissants, lots of desserts, plates, forks, and decorations
Joe is planning to have the pizza bar open Friday evening. He is making ribs and pork shoulders for Saturday's feast. I will make the slaw for the pork butt.
Karen, are you still planning to bring salads, cups?
Angela, are you still planning to bring some desserts? You may not need to bring desserts - check with Lisa.

At this point, it looks like we can't get there until Saturday. I'll bring whatever you need- some drinks to replenish the supply and some desserts or something....just let me know....
We also have some beer and wine. I don't think the chicken salad will still be good by the weekend. I can bring it if you want to test it. Most of our desserts are of the chocolate variety-cake, brownies. I also have strawberry and banana bread.

It looks like we won't be able to come until Saturday :( We had hoped for a pool-side camp-out! We'll be there early Saturday with several salads, tailgate cookies, and any other paper products you may need. We have tons of cups! I think Evan will be with us and Mitch will be coming over, as well.
I will be coming! But not until Saturday morning (provided I don't miss any flights...). I also probably won't bring anything, as airport security puts a damper on that sort of thing -- particularly drinks.
I once carried frozen crab cakes through security... worked like a charm.. even after Bret was sure I'd have to throw them away! (But, you don't need to bring a thing miss laura...)
I'm brining a box of crabs, now.
